Lounge: The spacious lounge is comfortably furnished and seems special. It has a generous size window overlooking Morecambe Bay where guests may delight in panoramic views of the bay and mountains beyond. Other focal points include a marble fireplace housing a crystal coal effect electric fire; a Sony 25" colour TV with nicam, teletext, digital satellite receiver and DVD. Furniture and furnishings include: a locally made fitted carpet from Goodacre's Royal Kendal range; lined curtains and scatter cushions; large glazed bookcase, fine old oak gate legged dining table with dining chairs, glass topped coffee table, award winning luxury settee and recliner, decorative lighting, large mirror, prints, ornaments and plant pedestal.
Bedrooms: The main bedroom has a king size bed, (or twin beds by arrangement,) made up with designer bed linen matching the curtains. The bedroom furnishing comprises a Stag Minstrel wardrobe, matching chest of drawers with dressing mirror, a linen fold oak chest, bedside tables with reading lights and a clock-radio, dressing chair, framed pictures, cooling fan and decorative lighting. The single/(twin bedroom) overlooks the bay, is small yet will accommodate two full size single beds by arrangement. The bed linen includes luxury designer quilts and pillows with coordinating curtains. The Royal Kendal carpet runs through from the lounge. The furniture includes a Stag wardrobe with side shelves, and a chest of drawers with mirror and chair. A second bed set up by request. Personal touches include oriental pictures and ornaments.
Kitchen: The kitchen is relatively small but the new fitted base and wall units provide plenty of storage space for the equipment supplied and ample room for guests' own provisions. It is equipped with a fridge-freezer, microwave, ceramic hob s/s cooker and extract hood. Other items include an electric kettle, coffee maker, toaster, mixer, steam iron with ironing board, comprehensive kitchen utensils, stainless steel pans, bead pattern cutlery, quality 'Steelite' crockery and alternative bone china, Hand and tea towels, a table cloth, oven cloth, dusters and all cleaning materials are provided. New for 2006 Bosch washer/dryer and dishwasher.
Bathroom and WC: The facilities provided are a small shower room with Showerlux bi-fold door in Sahara Gold, Triton power shower, extract fan, heated towel rail, shower-tray mat and bath mat.
