WHERE IS "WYCOMBE" AND GRANGE-OVER-SANDS
Wycombe is in a conservation area nestling between the English Lake District National Park and the sea.
Yet it is close to local amenities, including the mile long promenade, new tennis courts, ornamental gardens and parks, crown bowling green, competition size pool, play grounds, shops, restaurants and bars. There are two golf courses, 9 hole fell side and 18 hole parkland. 2 for 1 green fees if booking with us. Ask for details.
A view point (1km from flats and within the national park) gives views across the lake district, to famous landmarks and the Isle of Man, and even across to Snowdonia. Access is via a beautiful woodland walk, fellside and a natural limestone pavement, or by an easy walk through sheep grazing pastures.
Whilst Grange offers complete holiday relaxation, it is also ideally central for touring the Lake District, Furness and Cartmel Peninsulas, Yorkshire Dales and several nearby designated areas of natural beauty & Fylde coastal resorts. It is well connected by rail and road to the historic northern cities of York, Chester and Lancaster, and has direct trains to Manchester airport.
Overseas visitors may wish to visit historic cities of York, Chester,Lancaster or Edinburgh, each within a day.
